Q: What is the pricing for FACTS?
A: FACTS pricing is based on the size of the agency making it affordable for any sized organization. The base price is $2,500 for the FACTS server, plus $100.00 per sworn officer (sold in increments of five licenses) for the FACTS user license, totaling $3,000 for the smallest configuration. For larger agencies, the server price does not change, but more user licenses are added to accommodate the number of sworn officers. Free licenses are available to non-sworn for data entry and administrative access. Volume discounts are available. For more information, please see the FACTS Price List

Q: How is FACTS licensed?
A: FACTS comes packaged with desktop software for Officers, Supervisors and Support (with different levels of data access). All desktop software is connected to a central server running either Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Express or the PostgresSQL database. Q: How many users can FACTS support?
A: FACTS supports Microsoft SQL Server, which accommodates 2,000+ networked users. FACTS also supports both the Microsoft SQL Server Express and PostgresSQL databases (both available for free download) they support 500+ networked users.

Q: What technologies were used to develop FACTS?
A: FACTS is a client/server software application developed using industry-standard Microsoft C# and utilizing the .NET 2.0 framework (.NET 2.0 is provided).

Q: How are reports created?
A: FACTS uses industry-standard Crystal Reports (included at no additional cost) to create online and printed reports

Q: What data integration is available?
A: All data can by exported as tab-delimited files or MS Excel files. Custom Data Import/Integration services are also available for RMS integration. Please call for pricing.

Q: How is workflow (e.g., routing and email) implemented?
A: FACTS uses the industry-standard SMTP email transport used at your Agency to route reports and send notifications. No additional set-up is required.

Q: What is the pricing for services?
A: FACTS Annual Support and Maintenance contracts are available for purchase at 15% of license price per sworn officer. Training and Custom Data Import/Integration services are sold separately – please call for a quote.
