Q: How is FACTSä licensed?

A: FACTSä comes packaged with desktop software for Officers, Supervisors and Support (with different levels of data access). All desktop software is connected to a central server running on PostgresSQL database (the PostgresSQL database is included). Q: How many users can FACTS ä support?

A: FACTSä includes a PostgresSQL database that will support from 5 to 500 networked users. Support for Microsoft SQL Server will be included in the next release and will accommodate 2,000+ networked users.

Q: What technologies were used to develop FACTSä?

A: FACTSä is a client/server software application developed using industry-standard Microsoft C# and utilizing the .NET 2.0 framework (.NET 2.0 is provided).

Q: How are reports created?

A: FACTSä uses industry-standard Crystal Reportsä (included) to create online and printed reports

Q: What data integration is available?

A: All data can by exported as tab-delimited files or MS Excel files. Custom Data import/Integration services are also available for RMS integration.

Q: How is workflow (e.g., routing and email) implemented?

A: FACTSä automatically invokes the industry-standard email (SMTP-based) used at your Agency to route reports. No additional set-up is required.

Q: What is the software pricing?

A: FACTSä costs $2,500 for the main module and $100/per sworn officer (volume discounts are available).

Q: What is the pricing for services?

A: FACTSä Annual Support and Maintenance contracts are available for purchase at 15% of license price per sworn officer. Training and Custom Data import/Integration services are sold separately – please call for a quote.
