About CyberScheduler 2.1 for Linux - TAR
This 2.1 release of CyberScheduler contains software for installing a
CrossWind calendar server and middleware to access that calendar server through
a web browser (the CyberScheduler daemon).
INSTALLATION
In order to use CyberScheduler, you must first have (or install) a web server.
The cybersched2.1.*.tar file should be placed in
/usr/local/lib/synchronize and extracted with the command
tar xf cybersched2.1.*.tar
To install the software, run the CYBERINSTALL shell script, e.g.,
sh ./CYBERINSTALL
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Operating System: There are two releases available for Linux, one
whose platform identifier is "linux-redhat5",
which works with Red Hat 5.X and Slackware 3.4
(provided the optional glibc package is
installed). The other release, whose platform
identifier is "linux", works with most other
Linux distributions (including the default
Slackware 3.4 installation without the glibc
package installed).
RAM and Virtual Memory : Minimum Recommended by OS
Desktop Web browser software : MS Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher,
Netscape Navigator 4.0 or higher
Web server platform : Apache 1.2.4 or higher
Free disk space required: Approximately 3 MB

All necessary documentation is provided online and is packaged in this
tar file:
