value
The following options are supported in the 2.0.0 release or higher of the Synchronize client for UNIX/Motif and Windows and the 2.1.0 release or higher for Macintosh.
- limitRecurring
- (True or False) When set to True, users are limited in the range of time for which a recurring item can be scheduled. Limits are as follows:
Daily and Work-daily: 2-year limit
Weekly and Biweekly: 10-year limit
Monthly and greater: no limit
The default value is False.
- requirePassword
- (True or False) When set to True, UNIX/Motif users without a Synchronize password are not allowed to log in. This is already the case with Windows and Macintosh clients. The default value is False.
- checkTime
- The number of seconds after which an idle client will automatically connect to the server and check for new calendar items. The corresponding client option is Database check interval. When too many users set their Database check interval values too low, it can cause performance problems. This option allows the administrator to override user settings.
