Client E-mail Options
The following options can be set in the Configuration/Preferences dialog for each client:
- Receive mail about events - (True/False) If True, you are notified by e-mail when someone schedules you for an event. You also receive e-mail notification for certain modifications and deletions. The default value is False.
- Send mail to event originator - (True/False) If True, you will receive e-mail notification when you schedule an event. The default value is False.
- Enable sending mail - (True/False) (Windows only) If False, all e-mail originating from this user is disabled. The default value is True.
- Mail command
- (UNIX/Motif only) The command used by Synchronize to deliver mail. The default value is /usr/lib/sendmail .
Mail delimiter - (UNIX/Motif only) A character string used to separate e-mail recipient list addresses. The default value is a space. Another typical value for this option might be a comma.
Mail options - (UNIX/Motif only) The command-line option(s) used by the Mail command. The default value is -t.
The following option(s) apply only to the UNIX/Motif client and can be added to the client’s X resources (e.g., the resources/Synchronize file):
- serverSendmail
- (True/False) If True, the Synchronize server will deliver mail on behalf of the client. The default value is False. The format of the X resource entry would be as follows:
